We believe that the key of having a successful wedding is to hire the best professionals available. One of the most important decisions is finding the right photographer. Like other couples, we were very particular about picking the perfect photographer because pictures are one of the few things left after your wedding day.
Andrew Collings is without a doubt one of the best wedding photographers in Chicago. Our selection process involved visiting many photography studios and examining their previous work. The minute we saw Andy’s work, we were sure he was the perfect photographer for us as his previous work was so impressive and timeless. We were also impressed by his unique commitment to digital technology instead of film. As a result, we didn’t waste time discussing album packages but rather our desired approaches and style of photography.
On the big day, Andy and his assistant were outstanding in their enthusiasm and attention to detail without ever being obtrusive. They seemed to be present and ready for every important and memorable moment. Our day was planned according to a strict schedule, so Andy’s excellent organization skills and humor were invaluable not only making the day a success but his also to relieve the tension throughout the day. Throughout over 10 straight hours, his energy and commitment never wavered.
Of course, it’s the end result that matters most. Because of his use of digital technology, he was able to deliver our pictures within 4 weeks. With over 700 images of the best quality, we feel our wedding day was captured completely and perfectly. Our parents and friends have also voiced their pleasure and countless hours have been spent viewing the pictures together. Perhaps the best compliment we received was finding out that some of our friends plan on hiring Andy for their weddings!
